A $1 donation can go a long way in helping combat-wounded veterans and families of veterans wounded, injured, or killed in action.
From now until August 12, Scooter’s Coffee® is teaming up with Wounded Warriors Family Support (WWFS), a nonprofit run by combat veterans for combat veterans. For a fifth straight year, customers have the opportunity to add $1 to their order with all proceeds directly supporting WWFS.
Last year, the generosity of Scooter’s Coffee customers, employees and franchise owners contributed approximately $44,000 to the WWFS cause! With your help, we can raise more than ever before.
In addition to offering a welding training program that allows veterans to train and test for a 6G through 4F welding certification, WWFS provides grants and modified vehicles for combat-wounded veterans through Mobility is Freedom. The program aims to enhance the quality of life for wounded veterans by providing freedom and independence in their everyday lives. Since 2021, WWFS has provided 18 vehicle grants and 22 modified vehicles to wounded veterans.
With Purple Heart Day on August 7, now is a great time to support and give back to those who bravely served our country.
In addition to its partnership with WWFS, Scooter’s Coffee is a member of the International Franchise Association (“IFA”) and supports the IFA’s VetFran Program. Honorably discharged veterans who meet Scooter’s Coffee’s qualifications to be a franchisee, can receive a $20,000 product credit from Scooter’s Coffee vertically integrated supply chain division Harvest Roasting for use in the first year of operation for the veteran’s first store. More information on the IFA program can be found at VetFran.com.
