OMAHA, Neb., Dec. 4, 2023 – Scooter’s Coffee, best known for its amazingly fast drive-thru and specialty coffee, is excited to announce the promotion of Nick Jarecke to Chief Supply Chain Officer. Harvest Roasting, the backbone of Scooter’s Coffee’s vertically integrated supply chain model, is the key differentiator for the coffee franchise.
Through Harvest Rosting, Scooter’s Coffee roasts its own world-class coffee beans, lovingly bakes its own pastries, operates its warehouses at peak efficiencies and provides a personal touch with drivers who deliver products to franchisees.
Jarecke seamlessly integrates these roasting, baking, manufacturing and distribution functions to ensure the stability and resilience of the mission-critical supply chain pillar of Scooter’s Coffee. He also provides a hyper-focused approach to building and nurturing relationships critical for Scooter’s Coffee business and supply chain, from the coffee growers to suppliers and vendors, and with franchisees and employees.
In his new role, Jarecke will continue to lead an array of supply chain initiatives including strategic sourcing, cost management, logistics, new product commercialization, field execution and supplier relationships.
Jarecke joined Scooter’s Coffee in 2019 as Vice President of Supply Chain. While navigating complex economic and global supply chain challenges to ensure franchisee success, he also led the charge to create an efficient distribution network to support Scooter’s Coffee rapid nationwide growth. In addition to expanding distribution centers in Omaha, Neb., Kansas City, Mo., Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Ga., Jarecke provides ongoing strategy for future expansion efforts.
Jarecke has 20 years of industry experience and previously held leadership positions in major companies like Kellogg’s, Tyson, Nestlé and General Mills, working in a wide range of supply chain capacities.
